I seriously like the Dark side alot more, the colors are so vivid and I don't even know how you got the leaf designs in the background to work so well.
However on the Day side of things, it just seems like there's not much going on, puts the flower into focus, but compared to Dark theres not much =/
I don't see why you only put this as a scrap though, it's really nice
I like the Day more. It could have a lot to do with my mood but the brightness attracts me to it more, the dark side seems very clouded and theres a lot of stuff smudged in.
The focal point seems clearer in the Day one. I also like that little stain in the corner of it lol.
anyway, they're both pretty good, but I like the Bright un happy one dis time.
that's some awesome painting you did there. I really enjoy the night panel; I think it's the blues and greens that gets me.
I really like the focal points I see here: the orange and red pedals on the red and orange flowers, respectively. it adds a unique touch to a simple design, but then you've got another wash of darker colors to add more interest
you rock ^_^

Oh thankyou for saying so Ad for the background and stuff on the Night side, I generally had a sorta kinda idea in mind for it, but it actually came to be how it is by a lotta experimenting/mistakes that I just ended up really liking haha
ooooh thankyou! I was really unsure about the different colored pedals on the flowers...but I just decided to do it anyways, and Im glad I did! I think it adds a little unity and focus to both of them.
DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
